That feeling has followed me since early elementary school, when reading became more than a hobby — it became a lifelong love. I wrote whenever I could, I dreamed of seeing one of my books on the NYT Bestseller's list. I don't write now, but I am still never without a book in my hand.
In our home, books are everywhere. We are a family of readers — each of us drawn to different genres and voices, all connected by the joy of stories. That joy eventually led me to start a book club with women I had never met before. Those women are now some of my closest friends. It reminded me of something powerful: stories bring people together.
Dear Reader was born from that belief.
